USTR Lighthizer: Believes USMCA will ultimately attract broad bipartisan support in Congress

With the news reports concerning the US President Donald Trump’s likely hard step on Mexico and USMCA (United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement) being on wires, the US lawmakers also commented on the President Trump’s action.

US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said he believes USMCA will ultimately attract broad bipartisan support in Congress.

Previous, the US House of Representatives’ Speaker Nancy Pelosi was against Mr.Trump’s decision to send new NAFTA (USMCA) to Congress at this time.
