Analysts at Nomura offered their model's projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 213 pips higher than the previous fix (6.3139 from 6.2926) and 140 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.2999. The basket implied change is 189 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.3188 from 6.2999)."
