USD/CHF falls below 0.9600 to 3-week lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF dropped to 0.9585, reaching the lowest price since November 21 as the US dollar declined against European currencies on the back of better-than-expected economic data from the Eurozone and ahead of tomorrow’s FOMC statement.

USD/CHF continues to retreated

Last week the pair climbed to 0.9816, strongest in 17 months but it failed to hold above 0.9800 and started to retreated. Since then it has fallen in five out of the last seven trading days.

Today the pair weakened further after breaking the 0.9620 support area that capped the downside last week and also on Monday.

UK Gilt yield falls after CPI data

The 10-yr Gilt yield in the UK weakened after the data showed inflation faced by households in the UK cooled down in November.
